Ok folks Im having serious problems here.
I've gotten the turret fighters and have been pirating for awhile now. Ive gotten something like 400 cargo pods, and am ranked skilled. The problem is that the mission joint forces never shows up, at all. No emails about it, nothing except an email offering bounties on mauraders.
Do I need to keep pirating longer or am I screwed and need to restart?
BTW nothing from Oregon either, only mission Ive got is oone about fuel pellets and as I understand thats purely optional.

Hi WiseC, welcome to the board.
Did you do some practise with the turretfighters at the training ground?
After leaving your base check your waypointlist and "shift o" - any tasks left?
Do you run mods? Some of them may brake the script.
There is no safe distance

Yea slaughtered the mines, and docked the fighters to the platform Yadda Yadda Yadda, tried it again to be on the safe side but the mission is apparently dead Clay wont recognize the fighters docking now
After leaving your base check your waypointlist and "shift o" - any tasks left?
Fuel Pellets is all thats there, and honestly a pack of seeker missles aint worth the fight

Clean install patched to 14.6

I think i figured it out. Its the damn turret fighter tutorial. It sends the scripts for the rest of the missions fubar. Had a save just before it. Restarted from a save just before stepson meeting. Grabbed fighters, just after i got fighters the first bit of piracy triggered the Oregon email.

If you patched after starting the game, its possible for the scripts to be broken, but not cause trouble for quite a while. Since your still pretty early in the game, it would be an idea to restart with the patch already installed.

Im beggining to think you guys have trouble reading. I have patched since the beggining of the game. Its the training mission thats broken, fly the training mission you break the game.
