After the Torn Stars installation, you cannot play the original game. Torn Stars is a total conversion, completely replacing the original game.
However, there is a way to have a 'Dual' installation. There was a thread somewhere on these boards instructing how to do it, but I can't seem to find it right now...anyone know where it is?

Option 1: Two game installs
Just install the game twice in different places. Be sure to fully patch the first install before installing a second time. Create shortcuts to IW2EoCGS.exe for each install to bypass the launcher. There are settings in the registry that list where the game is installed. These are only used by the launcher (not necessary) and for patch installs (which there won't be any more of). The second copy should probably be your Torn Stars version so that future updates of it will install easily.
Option 2: File patching
If you have limited space, this might be better.
Install the game, F14.6 patch, Torn Stars.
Run file patcher .
The desktop icon 'Torn Stars' will now launch Torn Stars, and and old shortcuts for I-War 2 will run the base game.
While it would be nice to include functionality like this in the main Torn Stars installer, it is of questionable legality. The patcher itself is a NSIS installer using a script I wrote . It patches 3 dlls to use alternate file locations, allowing both Torn Stars and the base game to exist in the same location.
