where's my new ship?

All wingmen suck in this game, infact i haven't played a game yet where they are actually useful and do what you intend them to do!

Ask them to defend you and they constantly switch targets or just roam aimlessly and never seem to take any heat off your ass. Also, i think but may be wrong but "attack my target" is useless because when you switch target wingmen do to (emphasise i may be wrong!). The only time i undock my t-fighters is when they gonna be docked on a target to be defended.

I'm having problems with this mission in a different way, I get everything, twice, the same waypoint twice, twice the number of ships and wingmen, Smith tells me intro bit at the beginning twice and if I manage to beat the mines(there are twice as many) I can only escort one of the convoys and the other will die, is there something I should do to stop this bug or will it just not always happen, I am saved a little bit before the Indigo meeting so if I keep doing that will it one time come right?

Getaway. Have you upgraded to the latest version; F14.6 (see the Bugs and Fixes page on this site). I think this was a bug from the first version release.

Problem is this computer is not the one the game is on, I f I were to download it, would it fit on a floppy disc as this one has no cd writer and would in effect the game I'm currently playing or would I have to start again.

The patch won't affect your save games and WILL make the game much better, by fixing various bugs and adding mod support.
