Well, here goes. Im at the end of the 2nd act. Anyone got any tips for destroying The Maas Carrier. I tried twin cutting beams. Just got me killed

BTW, if you ever give up, what happens if you skip the cutscene just before the carrier appears? Just make sure you do come back to do it sometime, otherwise you'll feel like ya cheated.

If done correctly (and if luck is on your side), the carrier will be destroyed, and you can help mop-up the rest of the bad guys before they scrap Hoffer's ship.

I used triple beams, and it went down in roughly five seconds. Three cutting beams, two assault cannons + Advanced Patcom = teh win
Plus, you can always use disruptors on the Carrier.

Better be a past-tense modifier on that contraction, bubba. Even though it was still hideously overpowered, it was much more balanced by 0.4/0.5
