What is the best price out there (in USA) for EoC?

If you'll allow a question from a newbie...

The best I've been able to find is around $30 plus shipping at www.gogamer.com . Sites like mysimon.com don't even find that one-- any advice on getting it cheaper (preferably the version with the printed manual--I don't think the budget rerelease is available in the USA in any case).

Infogramme re-released EoC under their budget lable some months back through main game stores like EB Games. It sells for around $10 I think, if not less. You won't get that price on on-line stores. The $30 you quoted is about as good as it gets for now.

So my best bet is to actually go to EB or whatever and look for it there, then? I just checked gogamer again and the game is no longer available there, grrrr. Would I miss much by getting the budget version (assuming I can find it, because I'm not able to online at all)? Obviously I'd be getting no printed manual or reference card (if such came with the original game).

On the Budget version you get the Full manual on PDF but alas no keyboard reference card. I've been looking for one online since I got the game and so far I've had no luck. If anybody knows where to download the PDF keycard I'd really appreciate the addy.

You're not missing all that much. Sure you're going to scratch your head at the controls for the first little bit of gameplay. But how many of us ever actually look at the manual and reference card anyway?

Man, I'm finding that this thing is as rare as hen's teeth these days, at least new. Even the places that still offer to sell it to you say it's on backorder. If anyone knows of a good source (current) let me know. Amazon still has it for 39.99 (backordered), but I was hoping to pay less. Gogamer.com stopped listing it at all later the same day that I posted.

I went to both EB and Gamestop stores at the mall today, but no go. Of course they have all kinds of copies of Bang: Gunship Elite and Deerhunter games, grrr.
