Recycing?

It currently isn't possible to recycle anything in your equipment inventory. Still I have a bunch of old PBCs and other obsolete gizmos that just sit there.. can't trade them, can't recycle them.

Is there a good reason for this? Is there a mod that can allow me to recycle all this junk?

Once you finish the final mission, you can go into free roam mode (via the mod of the same name). Then, activate the Future Trader mod and sell off all your surplus. You'll make tons of cash.

Yes. You can go to stations and buy and sell cargo. Some stations have better prices, some places pay more for certain types of cargo... that sort of thing.
