BLOCKADE RUNNER FURY & FRUSTRATION

DOES ANYONE ELSE FIND THIS GAME ******* frustrating??

Im on blockade runner and i must have spent 20 hours just flying to the bloody mission. I mean what kind of ******s (insert suitable offensive expletive) create a game where you spend more time sitting watching your ship fly "AT LIGHT SPEED" (HAH) than you do actually completing the INFURIATING mission. AAAAAAAGGGGGGGGH.
and then, once you've finally got there, you get F***ING BLOWN UP THE MOMENT YOU EMERGE from the BLOODY wormhole. AAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHH.

PLEASE HELP, I've tried to enter the cheats but they don't work either...

this is where you 'think' about the mission instead of going in HEAD FIRST and dying repeatedly

Firstly equip your self with totally offencive weapons

e.g. a shit load of emp missiles and gattling cannons

then dont let the computer take you through the L-point


let i line your self up....then move back a rather large distance and go through the l point and FULL SPEED

you will emerge the other side at quite a nippy acceleration! you should dodge the mines

now use the quad light to take out the mines once you have taken out the maruders waiting for you...then escort the convoy

Trust me....what you get at the end is WORTH IT

when escorting the convoy remember to target the first one and let your wingmen deal with it...and then take out the second one on your own

wait for the convoy to heal it self and Then go and 'formate' with it

Cheers JWK. I didn't know you could manually go thru those things. u live and learn. When ocasionally i did get thru, i would let it rest for a bit. kinda stumbled across that one, went away ready to kill someone, came back and saw they'd recharged.

Dude. I just did that mish myself last night. Breezed it the first time thru the hole...always bump from auto-pilot straight to max over-drive thrust forward through those things if yer expecting trouble mate. But I figure I got lucky just that once. Went "a-pirating" on me way home to check out the shiny new goods and got smushed up against a freighter at high speed. Took me until nearly #¤*x'in dawn to do it all again. Got whacked by Marauders and their mines almost every other time I tried it.
But its true.
Shiny new toy is a true joy, looks so sexy and cool think I'll spend the weekend waxing it.

Yup. Is MOST frustrating. What IS it with Jafs and his paranoid fantasies of places not being safe? Am sick of emptying ships of their loot just to see it float about while he whinges. Is there a mod to "de-sensitise" the cargo carrying dude?

Heh yeah jafs can suck sometimes especially when the only damn red on your radar is a stupid transport thats like 90 kl away and you have to go intercept it waste gattling ammo to destroy it then hope no fugging marauders show up to furthur stall your looting.
