Impossible missions

Post here the missions that, although you KNEW how to solve, you couldn't.

For me it was the mission where you have to escort an antimatter freighter close to the end of the game. No matter what I did, the attacking fighters released several missiles aimed at the freighter before I could get'em (which was very fast, 7 seconds upon contact one time... using remote missiles). The freighter survived the first attack, but not the second one, and never the third. There's no way you're gonna intercept those missiles.

Tried this mission 5 times with all possible strategies and loadouts, using wingmen both attacking or docking with the freighter, but made no difference at all. At the 6th time I just used cheats to destroy the incoming fighters, and even then, the freighter dropped to 25% hull!

Other missions were not impossible, but too difficult comparing them with the rest of the game. For example, that one where you drop out of CapSpace into a minefield and 2 fighters attack you, and your wingmen are supposed to cover you from them while you clear the minefield. Repeated that mission around 7 times, always killed by the 20th or so missile launched by them
Other mission: the last one with the aliens. Red HUD, red nebula, and red aliens. That one was boring and irritating. Had to repeat it 4 times until the freeform mod worked, for an unknown reason.

Well, for me the antimatter mission wasn't that tough, I think I finished it by the second time I tried, mayby that's just being lucky. The last mission is easy if you do it with lds, but for me THE toughest mission was to get the patcom. Absolutely worthless wingmen! If you want something done you have to do it yourself. Once you get thet the mission becomes a little easier.
I mean there is no mental challenge to this mission, apart from your flying skills and a bit of luck, but I almost stoped playing the game when I traveled the whole route for the 15th time. That was the most frustrating for me.
