ok here I got v0.1 beta of ambiant light mod for Torn Stars

I tried to make things right

cambragol, feel free to modify anything & rehostit as you wish
(like the readme.txt, I'm french, my english might not be perfect)

3 different ambiant lights to choose from (+ original files)
-original : ambiant lights between 0 & 0.032 (with most systems at 0.005)
-1st : all ambiant lights x3
-2nd : all ambiant lights x2 +0.1
-3rd : all ambiant lights x4 +0.2

of course these needs more testers than me,
we shall see once more people are interested by this

I tried the link you posted above, but I keep getting a 404 error.


If you have no where to host it or upload it to, you could always use the Torn Stars site. Any registered user can write a blog, and the WYSIWYG editor allows you to upload images and files. Just look for the little floppy disk icon to upload files.

I shouldn't have put spaces in the filename, that's the problem
(it works if you copy/paste the whole quoted line)

Okay, the mod is up and hosted at the Torn Stars site. Let me know if it credits you enough, or what not. And thanks for the mod! I am sure many people will find it useful.

Joco has put together and installer for whismerhill's ambient lights mod, so switching between settings should be a snap now. Look to the Torn Stars site to find it.
