Target the pods and read the name of the faction. Then post it here. This is very strange. I wonder if the cargo is assigned to the Neutral faction until it docks... I wish I was not working until late tonight or I would test it myself.

pods faction : EMPTY
(as written in contact list)
my pods are not red here though

well here is 1 of the pod that were red while tranfer to the station from the IKHIL Tran to the IKHIL Station.
This is what it read after I enter the station and exit. well It turn from red to blue.

That's the issue. There are also spawns of "empty" ships happening in the cluster now. (I think I have those stamped out in the next release). Which means that you can encounter and end up fighting a faction that is not supposed to exist.
I will have to patch the reputation code to make sure empty can never change from neutral. Thanks for the help in tracking this down! This is the kind of steady bug spotting we need to get the mod running it's best.

I also found the bug where non-player cargo was getting pulled into the list of player cargo at save time. So the player ended with free cargo. That bug will be closed in Unstable Space.
