Have you tried to install into C:\games instead of C:\programs?

I now can't run Iwar2 now that I have installed the latest patch. I'm running vista and nvidia 6600GT, I went over this thread but I still can't get it to work.

I am having the loader.exe problem also. I noticed it mentioned Secur32.dll in the error. I could always reinstall the game and play as I was before but it's so damn hard I'm hoping the patch might make it a little less frustrating. Awesome game otherwise but still not better than privateer 2 .

Any thoughts?

And I turned OFF all compatibility options. I'm running IW2EoCGS.exe in admin mode. I'm not sure what I did it seems to be just how it was when it wasn't working.

Have the same Problems. Unable to find a suitable driver.
Installed the game after Vista Ultimate an all updates for Vista.
Tryed the Shortcut and editing the flux.ini. Nothing happend.
Starting with the IW2EoCGS.exe shows the Intro but with starting a new game the game crashes to Desktop withot any Error-Message.
The Loader didnt work.

I have a Nvidia GeForce 6200

Any ideas???

I've been having the problem with the "no suitable driver found".
For me the solution was just running the IW2EoCGS.exe executable, and now i have the game running at 1280x800 at 32 color bits on vista home premium with a mobility radeon 2600.
I haven't tried to begin a game yet, but at least i reach the main menu without problems.
By the way, before the first time i runned it i changed the bit-depth from 32 to 16 in the flux.ini file, but on the second time i didn't need to change this.

ive found out how to run eoc independence war 2 basically go into computer then C: then program files then infogrames then Independence War 2 - Edge of Chaos then theres a file called IW2EoCGS.exe it will run the game ive just found out 2day incase any 1 is still wondering how 2 play
