Your ship even has the wrong name. So it must be the wrong ship. That is really weird. I installed straight over 11.1 without problem. I wonder what was broken? Can you think of anything odd in the startup that might give a clue?
I hear you about the asteroids. There was one that totally blocked one of the test lpoints. I had to turn off all the asteroids so I could do the jump testing. We are working on fixing that issue.

I can't think of anything that would've messed up the install. I just DLed the file and tried to install it...then everything went FUBAR until I did the uninstall - reinstall.
Hey, is there anyway to change the friendly/allied colors (in the contact list) and make them different then wingman colors? It gets really confusing when you have multiple wingman sitting near a allied station with accompanied escorts, ect.

Did you by chance load a saved game from the prior version first? Not that it should have mattered, cause none of the changes should have impacted the save, but just in case.
No, the colors are part of the HUD and I don't know anyway to change them. I could make them mission critical, but then you can't find the ships with COMMS function easily.

ummm nope. I wanted to start with a new game, instead of loading from a save. I haven't had much luck with reloading saves so far.
The COMMS doesn't, also, select the wingman in the contact list..or does it?

You can talk to your wingmen that way. Right now it only allows you to fire wingmen.
If you are seeing save/load issues, we would like to hear about them!

Your save problem looks like you did not have a valid start position selected. It is behaving exactly as if you somehow exited the start screen without selecting a start. How are you getting past the start screen?
[Edit] Found it! I thought I had protected against the case of the user just pressing start without selecting a scenario, but the protection didn't work. If you just press start, you end up with no money! Now I don't let you press start until you have selected a scenario. So that issue should be fixed. (dances )
